Why Provide Workplace Flu Vaccinations?

Provide a well received and valuable employee benefit
Shows that you are a caring organisation
Improves employee engagement, making a happier workplace and increases productivity
This vaccine is also recommended by the NHS and directed by the World Health Organisation.
This superior vaccine means that each employee will be protected against more strains of flu than ever before.
There are two important influenza A strains and two important influenza B strains.
The previous, trivalent vaccine only covered two A strains and one B strain. This also includes swine flu.
Those employees that have a flu voucher will have the same vaccine but at a pharmacy.

All you need to provide is a private room with a table and two chairs for the clinic. To have a responsible person on the day to be the contact for the nurse.
The flu jabs are delivered the day before your flu vaccinations clinic, in a temperature controlled box. Do not open it, just keep it in a safe place and give to the nurse on their arrival.

How do Workplace Flu Jab Clinics Work?

We’ll provide you with all the information that you need including information on flu jabs specifically for your employees.
For those with a flu voucher, we will provide all the information staff need to be able to redeem their flu voucher.

What happens on the day?

Our nurses will arrive 15 minutes before the start time to set up, be shown toilets and fire escapes. They will have all the equipment that they need.
The vaccinations begin promptly at the scheduled time.
The qualified nurse will ask a few medical questions to ensure the member of staff is suitable to have a flu jab. The nurse will also answer any questions the employee may have.
At the end of the day the nurse will pack up the flu box, seal it. The flu box will then be collected the next working day, to be returned to the Flu Xpress Ltd Flu Team.
